Export Credit Norway sees opportunities for Norwegian clean technology exports

Norwegian companies are finding their niches in the growing renewable energy industry. 

“Norwegian suppliers compete in a growing international market, where global investments in renewable energy projects increased six-fold from 2004 to 2012, reaching USD 285 billion,” says Ivar Slengesol, EVP Director of Lending – Industry and Renewable Energy at Export Credit Norway. 

“In the years to come, Export Credit Norway will do everything it can to support this burgeoning sector,” Slengesol says. “We will work closely with GIEK, Innovation Norway, Enova and other government agencies to ensure a holistic approach.”
