Excellent Norwegian ship design creates market opportunities worldwide

Havyard Ship Technology is committed to develop its own ship design for the world market.

In November, the company will deliver a subsea vessel built on Havyards 857 design to Forland Shipping Company, and in August 2014, the company will deliver a vessel built on the same design to Nigeria-based Marine Platforms Limited (MPL).

- Havyard has been very reliable and solution minded during the construction process. In consultation with the Forland and EMAS AMC, the ship is customized to meet current and future offshore needs. The ship is designed for operations in "harsh and deep waters." In addition, the ship is suitable for use in the Barents Sea, which most likely will be very significant in the years to come. So this is a versatile ship with great potential that we have high expectations for, says Høvik.
