Eight new Indo-Norwegian projects approved

Of the eight projects five are answering the call on The Climate system in polar areas and three are connected to Earthquakes. Contract negotiations with the involved institutions will happen in October.

19 applications were evaluated, and a total amount available in the call from The Polar programme and the programme for research cooperation with India (Indnor) was 30 million Nok. MoESS will fund the Indian partners.

The joint call with The Minestry of Earth Science (ESSO-MoES) is the result of the MOU that The Research Council of Norway entered into with ESSO-MoES in 2014.
