Doing business in Norway

One of our new members, Visma Services Norge invites you to a breakfast seminar in English, especially directed to foreign business executives, relevant for all industries - March 6th at 8-10 hrs.

Oslo Chamber of Commerce

The seminar is a role play on how to Structure Business in Norway. The audience may participate and ask questions.

Meet the “CFO” of “Edvard Plc” of the UK, who is considering participation in a tender for the building of the new Lambda Munch Museum in Oslo.

It is envisaged that the Norwegian construction project will last for two years and will imply e.g. seconding of own UK construction workers, subcontracting the French group company “Scream S.A.”, hiring in employees from “Solen SRL” a Spanish unrelated employment agency bureau, as well as importing equipment to Norway.

In order to compute the basis for the tender, the CFO needs to know how to structure the legal set up in Norway, the compliance and reporting obligations, corporate and employee tax, VAT and social security contribution consequences, employment law issues, etc., as well as the costs related hereto.

During the meeting various professionals from VISMA will guide you through the jungle of rules, including the possibility of reducing the costs.

Agenda:

08:00-08:30 – Welcome, breakfast and registration

08:30-10:00 – Meet the CFO of Edvard Plc

Venue: The VISMA building in Bjørvika, entrance from Trelastgata

Date: 6th March 2014. The seminar is free of charge.
