Day 1 at Subsea Valley

Day 1 is underway at Telenor Arena for the Subsea Valley Conference 2014. 

The Subsea Valley Conference focuses on technology, expertise and competitiveness. The Subsea Valley Conference is taking place in Telenor Arena, Oslo, Norway. The conference start with a opening event on the 1st of April, however the exhibition and seminars themselves kick-off on the 2nd.

Preben Strøm, Managing Director of Subsea Valley, and Lisbeth Hammer Krog, the Mayor of Bærum, opened the conference this morning at 9 am. Followed by Erna Solberg, the Norwegian Prime Minister, who spoke about the government's recipe to strenghten Norwegian competitiveness.

The day continous with a long list of interesting topics being discussed, such as:

  • Addressing the competence challenge in context of subsesa technology trends
