BIS Production partners strengthens its operations in Finland

BIS Production Partner OY bought the industrial services division of the Finnish company ARE on December 8th 2011.

The industrial services division has 220 employees. The acquisition strengthens BIS Production Partner OY's position in the Finnish market.

- Our business in Finland has so far been concentrated on piping and mechanical trades. Are Industrial Service, which also works towards the process industry has its strength in the areas of electrical and automation trades. This means that the acquisition strengthens us in that we are now a complete and multidisciplinary service provider in Finland, says Roy Vardheim, Vice President of business unit Finland, Denmark and Iceland in BIS Production Partner.

The acquisition more than triples BIS Production Partner Oy's business. Are Industrial Service will be operating as a BIS unit from January 1st 2012 with eight new sites.
