Aurora Salmon Singapore

Discerning salmon lovers in Singapore will now be able to enjoy the round melting flavour of Aurora Salmon® from Norway, a premium sashimi-grade salmon.

Known for its sweet taste, smooth texture, vibrant colour and unique arctic origin, Aurora Salmon® which is air flown fresh into Singapore within 2-3 days of harvesting, will now be retailed exclusively at all the Kuriya Fish Market outlets.

One of the most sought after brands in Japan, Aurora Salmon® is carefully farmed in the most ideal conditions under the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) of the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway. The fresh cold clear waters within this pristine environment hold temperatures stable at a consistent average of 3-4 °C in winter and 5-10 °C in the summer. This, together with the optimal currents and oxygen levels, ensures the slow growth of the Aurora Salmon®, resulting in higher fat content than other farmed salmon.

The ultimate salmon for sushi and sashimi, Aurora Salmon® is produced in limited quantities with longer resting periods in between harvests to ensure the highest quality is maintained.
