Arctic Frontiers - Humans In The Arctic

The annual Arctic Frontiers conference will be held in Tromsø, Norway, 19th - 24th January. 

Arctic Frontiers is organised as a project based at the research and consultancy company Akvaplan-niva. The original Arctic Frontiers network of partners was established in 2006 and has since been extended. Arctic Frontiers is financed through partner contributions and conference fees. The main activity is the conference which takes place each year during the fourth week of January with several related events.

This year's conference sees speakers such as:

 Dagfinn Høybråten, Secretary General, Nordic Council of Ministers
 Elisabeth Aspaker, Norwegian Minister of Fisheries

Henry Wöhrnschimmel, Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich
