A strong Norwegian presence at Seafood Expo Global

Tuesday this week sees the door opening for the largest Seafood exhibition in the world, Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global in Brussel. Nortrade will be attending alongside Findexa Forlag's other products Norway Exports and Northern Seafood.

The exhibition is predicting a record breaking number of attendees this year, and looking at numbers of 25.600 visitors from 145 countries. This is the most important event in the Seafood sector and over 1690 companies are taking part in this year's exhibit, representing 76 countries. 

 

Since it opened in 1993, SEafood Expo global (SEG), formarly known as European Seafood Exposition, has grown to become the world largest and most important seafood exhibition. 

 

21st time

This will be the 21st consecutive year where Innovation Norway arranges a pavillion at SEG. 55 Norwegian companies will fill the 1200m² area. There will also be Norwegian companies present outside the pavillion. 

- The Seafood and suppliers exhibition in Brussel is the most important gathering of the year for the Norwegian seafood industry. It is a unique arena to showcase companies and network. It is great that Innovation Norway can contribute in a way, says Inger Solberg, director of agriculture and marine, Innovation Norway.
