8 analog input with Profibus DP Interface

PROFI-5017 and PROFI-5017C are two new remote I/O modules with PROFIBUS interface, which offer 8 analog input channels for the acquisition of respectively voltages within the range +/- 10V and current within the range 0~20 mA.

PROFI-5017 and PROFI-5017C operate as a slave in the PROFIBUS network, support PROFIBUS DP-V0 protocol, and can easily be integrated and configured in the application thanks to the provided GSD file. The baud rate, with maximum value of 12 Mbps, is automatically detected when installed into the PROFIBUS network.

To meet the severe industrial environments, PROFI-5017 and PROFI-5017C features a 3kV isolation protection, a 4kV ESD protection, and on each analog channel, a 2500 Vrms isolation is present. Both PROFI-5017 and PROFI-5017C can be installed on DIN-Rail, and requires a standard 10-40 VDC external power supply.
