Quiz winner

She doesn’t know much about the petroleum industry, but she had some pretty good helpers in the quiz at the Authorities’ stand at ONS in late August.

Good enough for the grand prize, in fact – an iPhone 4S.

The winner is Kamilla Øvstebø (age 22) from Stavanger. She is a first-year student at the Norwegian School of Creative Studies. She and a group of her fellow students visited ONS to take a closer look at the exhibitions there. This was her first time at ONS.

”We saw various stands, and many of them had too much of a good thing going. Spending the most money does not always mean that you end up with the best stand,”was Øvstebø’s verdict.

”I stopped at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s stand (the authorities’ stand – Ed.) because it was different. That’s when I was encouraged to participate in the quiz.”

In the future, she would like to work in a creative profession, and wouldn’t mind being in the oil industry: ”I’d like to make the industry easier on the eyes.”
