Dry wells near the Skarv field

E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS, operator of production licence 350, has completed the drilling of wildcat well 6507/6-4 S and is in the process of completing the drilling of wildcat well 6507/6-4 A.

Both wells were dry.

The wells were drilled about 10 kilometres southeast of the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea.

Extensive data acquisition has taken place in both wells and sampling was carried out in well 6507/6-4 A.

The wells are the two first exploration wells in production licence 350. The licence was awarded in APA 2004.
