Aspaker about russian ban

The Minister of Fisheries, Elisabeth Aspaker, spoke Friday about the import ban on Norwegian goods to Russia.

- I am informed that the measures carried out by Russia against the import of foodstuffs from the EU, Canada, USA and Australia also will have an impact on the Norwegian seafood industry. We are following the situation carefully, and we are in a close dialogue with the industry. It is now particularly important to identify the consequences of these measures, and to look at measures that can be undertaken to ease the situation for the seafood industry, says the Minister of Fisheries Elisabeth Aspaker.
