Completion Planner LQ and Hook-up (ref.nr. 405639)


* The Completion Planner shall manage planning activities for the Completion subproject including Hook Up and Commissioning projects and Hand over of activities to Operation.
* Establish the onshore and offshore commissioning schedules. The ATS schedule shall be an integrated part of the schedules.
* Establish and follow up completion schedule for the project covering
* Onshore: a linked logical network between the construction system schedule prepared by LQ construction Contractor and the onshore commissioning schedule,
* Follow up Hook-up contractor’s schedule and planning activities
* Offshore: a linked logical network between the hook-up schedule prepared by hook-up Contractor and the offshore commissioning schedule


* Establish standardized reporting templates and reporting routines for the Completion phase
* Participate in preparation of schedule risk analysis
* Review of Contractors' scheduling, schedule control, progress measurement and reporting according to Contract Administration Requirements Appendix D
* Prepare and maintain Company schedule and progress curves for areas of assigned responsibility
* Facilitate decision-making with preparation of customized schedules as needed
* Review Contractor Change Proposals for area of responsibility and analyze impacts on schedule
* Contribute in establishing and maintaining project procedures
* Coordinate Completion Baseline updates for planning
* Participate with the preparation of schedule sections for project close out report.
* Other tasks as may be assigned by the Project Managers or the Lead Planner
* Participate in establishing and develop the planning tools for the project
* Participate in Project teams on Site as required

Required expertise:

B.Sc./M.Sc. Level relevant education. Extensive experience may replace formal education.
Over 5 years relevant experience from Oil & Gas project
Over 3 years planning experience
Primavera planning tool experience
Good working knowledge of “Microsoft Office Programs”
Regulatory Competence for the Petroleum Industry
Pass the course “Basic Safety and Emergency Training”
Pass medical tests for offshore rotation
Main location in onshore period at Stord
Open to commuting and travelling including Stord, Haugesund, Trondheim and offshore Ivar Aasen

Personal skills:

A good working knowledge of written and spoken English
Cultural understanding
Sound technical and commercial understanding of project execution
Good cooperation, communication and inter-human skills
