In addition, drilling unit number two, COSLInnovator, arrived in Norway in March 2012 and commenced operations in November 2012. The 3rd drilling unit, COSLPromoter, will start operations on NCS in December 2012. Both these rigs have firm contracts with Statoil for drilling- and completion work on the Troll field. The fixed contract period for each of these rigs are 8 years plus 8 x 1 year options. In addition CDE owns two accomodation units, COSLRigmar and COSLRival, both operating on long term contracts with ConocoPhillips, COSLRigmar in Norway and COSLRival in UK. In 2012 CDE will operate 5 units, 2 accomodation units and 3 semi - submersible drilling units in the North Sea area.
