We are looking for a team-oriented and forthright person who will take on the main responsibility for the company’s risk management, including the preparation and implementation of the company’s credit policy and methods for supervising liabilities.


The manager for risk management is to have a wide sphere of activity and is to work both strategically and operatively. In addition to continuously developing the company’s credit policy he or she will suggest and implement risk decreasing measures if it is applicable to the prevailing conditions. Based on contact with ratings bureaus and analysts the person in the position will make continuous evaluations of the creditworthiness of countries and co-guarantors/financial institutions. He or she will report to the CFO.


We are seeking a person who is solution and business oriented with a high level of integrity and who can make an impact. The tasks and responsibilities of the position demand good analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers. The right candidate has a lot of initiative, is committed and is capable of working both on a strategic and detail oriented level.  


Candidates must have higher education and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. One condition for being hired is for the person to have a general understanding of measuring and analyzing market and credit risk. It is also desired that he or she has knowledge of the state’s overall public policy system for promoting the Norwegian export industry.
